About Us
Frederick Muench, Ph.D is the founder and President of Mobile Health Interventions. Dr. Muench graduated from Fordham University with a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. He has held faculty and adjunct faculty positions at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and New York University respectively. He was the Director of Clinical Research and Development at Helicor, Inc. a Biofeedback and Stress Management Company prior to starting MHI. He recently founded the Technology and Behavior Change Special Interest Group at the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies and writes a blog for Psychology Today entitled More than Tech Support. His goal is to help bridge science, technology and practice to help encourage healthy lifestyles for all people wanting to change.
Samantha Gibb Kennedy is the Director of Business Operations. Ms. Kennedy graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Psychology. She has worked at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, Helicor, Inc. and WNET.ORG prior to joining MHI. In addition to working at MHI, Ms. Gibb is obtaining her MBA from Yale School of Management. She also created the health blog Medium Wellness.
