Dr. Muench speaks at Mobile Health 2010

Dr. Muench was invited to present on Health Txts at the Mobile Health 2010 conference at Stanford University.

MHI receives funding from NIDA

We are proud to announce that Mobile Health Interventions has received funding through a Phase I small business grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse at the National Institutes of Health to develop an interactive tailored mobile messaging system to help increase treatment adherence, decrease drop-out and prevent the recurrence of problem drug use during and following professionally facilitated addiction treatment. The mobile phone represents a wonderful opportunity to monitor and intervene with individuals in their natural environment when and where relapse is most likely to occur. The goal is to create a tailored system that can be modulated by the severity of symptoms so people receive more support when they are at greatest risk for relapse. Once completed, we will have an automated disease management continuing care system that can be integrated into any addiction treatment program!
