Health Txts is a free* service in which you receive self improvement text messages that you write and/or from our expert library to help you meet your goals. Health Txts offers three programming options. Below is a brief description of each program. We recommend reading through each before getting started.
Health Txts: Quick Txts
Sends you messages from our expert library between 9am-9pm. Choose your messaging category and how many messages you want per day. No login information needed. More on Quick Txts.
Health Txts Reminders
Sends you health reminder messages from our library and/or that you write at very specific times or randomly within your individualized messaging periods. More on Reminders.
Health Txts Guided Change
All of the features of Reminders but guides you to write very specific behavior change text messages based on motivational techniques to help you think about your goals in a different way. More on Guided Change.
How to use Health Txts Reminders and Guided Change
Simply sign up for services, choose your program, enter your messages and messaging periods, and complete the optional 1 minute assessment. You can choose to enter as many or as few messages as you wish. To stop your messages either sign-in to your account and deactivate your profile or reply STOP to any message. To start again sign-in and reactivate your account or reply GO to any message. You may edit or change your messages at any time.• For tips on writing helpful messages click here.
• Because our services are for informational/educational purposes only, we do not include interactive adaptive messaging and assessment messaging as part of our basic programs. However, these options are available through our custom programs for professionals.
